(subsidiária da MAHLE Indústria e Comércio Ltda.) pela Metal Leve S.A. Ainda em 1998 a MAHLE Metal Leve realiza uma “joint venture” com a empresa Miba da Áustria para produtos sinterizados.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEm 2001, participação na MAHLE Metal Leve S.A. é transferida para a MAHLE Indústria e Comércio Ltda que centralizou o controle dos investimentos no Brasil.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEm 2002 foi incorporada a MAHLE Sistemas de Filtração Ltda. pela MAHLE Metal Leve S.A. e em 2003 os acionistas da MAHLE Metal Leve aprovaram a incorporação da MAHLE MMG Indústria e Comércio Ltda. após ter adquirido a totalidade das ações junto à MAHLE Ventiltrieb GmbH.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEm 2004 foi constituída a empresa MAHLE Metal Leve GmbH, com sede na Áustria, que tem por objetivo incrementar as exportações da Companhia, além de aprimorar a qualidade no atendimento e na prestação de serviços aos clientes.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEm 2005 a Companhia deu início ao projeto de construção e instalação do Centro de Tecnologia na Cidade de Jundiaí (SP).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEm 2007 foram adquiridos os ativos operacionais da Dana Indústria Ltda. na cidade de Gravataí para produção de bronzinas e a totalidade das ações da Establecimentos Metalurgicos Edival S.A. localizada na Argentina, que produz válvulas para o mercado de equipamento original e reposição. No final do mesmo ano, foram adquiridos no mercado argentino, os negócios de distribuição de pistões, cilindros e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003ci\u003eaftermarket\u003c\/i\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003eda empresa MAHLE S.A. de Argentina (hoje, Compañia Rosarina S.A.), subsidiária integral de sua controladora, pela empresa MAHLE Válvulas de Argentina S.A. (ex-Edival) aprovou, entre outros assuntos, a alteração de sua razão social para MAHLE Argentina S.A. Em Maio desse ano a Companhia e a empresa alemã Hirshvogel Umformtechnik GmbH efetivaram a formação de uma “joint venture” com a consequente aquisição pela Companhia de 51% das ações ordinárias na empresa Forjas Brasileiras S.A. de capital fechado, com sede em Queimados, RJ, passando a denominar-se MAHLE Hirschvogel Forjas S.A. Em Junho foi inaugurado o novo Centro Tecnológico (CT) na cidade de Jundiaí (SP), considerado o maior e mais bem equipado centro de pesquisa e desenvolvimento de tecnologia de motores da América Latina, sendo que por meio de conceito arquitetônico moderno foi planejado afetar o mínimo possível o equilíbrio natural da serra do Japi, onde está localizado.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEm Novembro de 2010 foi aprovada a reorganização societária do Grupo MAHLE América do Sul que compreende, em linhas gerais, as seguintes etapas: (a) incorporação da Mahle Componentes de Motores do Brasil Ltda. pela sua controladora Mahle Participações Ltda.; (b) aquisição, pela Companhia, de quotas de emissão da Mahle Participações Ltda. detidas pela Mahle Industriebeteiligungen GmbH; (c) incorporação da Mahle Participações Ltda. pela Companhia;\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEm 2011, a Companhia realizou oferta pública secundária de distribuição de ações de titularidade da MAHLE Industriebeteiligungen GmbH. No contexto da oferta, a Companhia converteu a totalidade das ações preferenciais de sua emissão em ações ordinárias e aderiu ao Novo Mercado, o mais alto nível de governança corporativa da B3 S.A. – Brasil, Bolsa, Balcão.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEm 2013 a Companhia vendeu 10% das quotas da Mahle Metal Leve Miba Sinterizados Ltda para a Miba Sinter Holding GmbH \u0026amp; Co KG pelo valor de R$ 4,68 milhões.
