About Beetle 2.1L Slim model aluminum crankcase (ACCRT04)

SPA Turbo brings another new feature to VW air-cooled engines for Beetles and derivatives! The 2.1L Slim over-sump was designed to be used even in lowered cars, and thanks to its unique construction and only 57.5mm in height, it guarantees a greater volume of oil for engines prepared for use on the streets. The over crankcase has the function of increasing the oil storage capacity in the engine, which guarantees greater efficiency in temperature exchange due to the lubricant. Furthermore, it helps maintain correct lubrication even at high speeds and sharp curves.

Application: air-cooled VW engines from 1,300 to 2,500cc (recommended use of a larger capacity oil pump with gears of 26mm or more).

It has 3 places for holes for oil return (up to 10AN) and 1 place for a temperature sensor, etc.

Material: Cast aluminum with finned finish following the design of the original engine block.

Weight: 4.7kg

ATTENTION: Oil fisherman extension tube is not included. It is necessary to check the diameter of the block tube used and extend it using a clamp or welding.

You can use the original sieve or eliminate the sieve and use an external oil filter.

Despite the Slim format, for street cars, it is important to pay attention to ditches, speed bumps and holes to avoid collisions with the crankcase, in order to avoid possible cracks and consequent leaks.
