About the Company

The URBA and BROSOL brands now belong to the same company, AMP Indústria e Comércio de Peças Automotivas, a 100% Brazilian company with its factory located in the city of São Paulo. Urbano Garcia, a descendant of Spaniards, opened an auto parts retail store in 1947. The following year, he began producing URBA water pumps in a workshop in the Água Branca neighborhood, pioneering the replacement market. Martin Bromberg, another descendant of immigrants, but of German descent, stood out by selling the Brosol line of automotive oils. In 1959, Martin joined forces with the German Alfred Pierburg and began the industrial activities of BROSOL to produce carburetors and fuel pumps. Currently, the URBA line consists of water pumps and additives for cooling systems, and the BROSOL line consists of oil pumps, fuel pumps, and carburetors. They are two traditional brands with great credibility due to the high quality of their products.
