Success and the end of production!
THE Beetle It wasn't always the cheapest car, as one might initially think, and in fact, sales were low in the first years of import/production in most of the various countries where it was produced. Volkswagen It settled in. In 1949, for example, the Volkswagen signed an agreement with the American company Chrysler to use the latter's dealership network to sell the Beetle . Only two of these cars were sold in the United States throughout the entire year.
