The speedometer in this kit is designed for installation in the same location as the original, without any modifications.

The speedometer is electronic and comes with a speed sensor that must be connected to the original Beetle cable for accurate measurement.

This model is great because it can be calibrated to the tire size installed on the Beetle and is 100% accurate.
